We have arrived in Nebraska, and we are all finally recovering from whatever bug it was that ripped through our house (well, all of us except Husband, who is just now taking his turn). We DID NOT bring the RV, and since I'm trying to maintain a positive attitude, I will not describe for you the sad state of affairs we find ourselves in in our rented mobile home. We got here yesterday afternoon, and I'm hoping to get the place good and clean by Friday so I can take the weekend to plan our lessons for next week. I'm planning to add in math for both IW and QL.
I also want to spruce the place up with some fall decorations and make it feel a little more home-y.
My birthday was FANTASTIC! There was no beer, as I was still feeling like poo, but there was football, yummy food and good company. Husband's mom remembered that Italian is my favorite and made a wonderfully delicious meal, and there were gifts. Really thoughtful and perfect gifts. And we watched the movie "Date Night" with Husband's parents, sister and brother-in-law, which was pretty funny. Tina Fey cracks me up!
I'm so glad God's timing is better than my own. My in-laws house was the perfect place to spend my birthday!
Okay, that's my update. See, I'm getting better! Now I have to go clean something.
